Burger Division

The other day, staff meal was tofu for dinner (everyone's favourite -- not) so Gina and I thought about ordering from the menu instead. Gina decided she wasn't that hungry, and I wanted a burger (which is quite large), so we decided to share. As I was writing my bill to order, Thomas decided he wanted one as well. I also started reconsidering how hungry I was and decided I could eat more than half a burger, so we decided to split 2 of them 3 ways. Thomas and I had to go to the end of a training event and Gina was busy, so she suggested we just leave her some. So I ate 2/3 of my burger and gave Thomas the rest. He ate some of his and saved what was left for Gina. You don't have to be too mathy to figure this out ... Anyways, long story short, when I brought it to Gina, she seemed all happy ... until she found out she was expected to eat from Thomas', that is. She flat out refused it. Apparently eating from boys is just plain wrong ... As wrong as washing your socks and underwear with the rest of your clothes in China (something else I have yet to quite understand ...)

On the other hand, I do agree with most Chinese people here, it seems ... mooncakes are just not worth eating. I was confused about why so many are made and bought since this is the case until Julie explained it to me. Apparently regifting is the trick :p
