Pregnancies, Not Mine, Don't Worry

Happy birthday! We are 6 years old today and celebrated by giving everyone free ice cream. We were actually decently packed today, but the real event was 2 different staff members making public that they are pregnant today. I hope neither of them leaves too soon ...

After dinner Julie showed us around her house and then we played bananagrams, which I have to say is so much better than scrabble.

Why we were playing she started telling us about a Chinese tradition where after a woman gives birth she doesn't touch water for a whole month. This includes bathing, teeth brushing, etc. Apparently this isn't something just a few people do either. It's quite common. I'm trying not to judge, but really???? really?!?!?! I need to read more about this D...
